ACT NOW!! MARCH FOR HUMANITY  3/25, 3/26!!

While news across the nation is continually talking about all the mishaps in Iraq....(no duh)...the Bush Administration and this Republican Congress is trying to slip this through under the radar. If this bill passes, so many community based organizations that serve immigrants are gonna be hit hard. Places like Korean Resource Center, CARECEN, and other organizations that serve immigrants who need access and help. If anything, we need to support organizations like KRC, CARECEN, CHIRLA.

This is a message from my friend DJ hyung:

Dear Friends,

In December 2005, the House of Representatives passed an extremely harsh and anti-immigrant bill, HR 4437.  This bill will not only criminalize 11 million undocumented immigrants, including 1.6 million children, but will also punish doctors, pastors, and social service agencies who have contact with undocumented immigrants.  Organizations like the Korean Resource Center, who do not discriminate based on immigration status, may be forced to close down. Please Join us and help circulate…Thanks

March for Immigrant Rights

March 25 and 26

In December 2005, the House passed H.R. 4437, an anti-immigrant bill that will criminalize millions of immigrant families and anyone who comes into contact with them.  The Senate may consider a similar bill.  Now is the time to make our voices heard.

  • NO to H.R. 4437!
    • NO to Criminalizing Immigrant Communities
NO to the War at Home and Abroad
  • YES to Legalization!
    • YES to Keeping Families Together
    • YES to Housing, Jobs and Health Care

there has been a growing movement in the Asian American community...for the support of Asian American arts and entertainment. We feel it that it's about to explode and in fact it's occurring now with more and more Asian Americans in the arts and media. Support this movement that will change the image of Asian Americans in the mainstream and will inspire young people that they are more than just a bunch of stereotypes.

PLEASE FORWARD EVERYWHERE!!!
